Kawther Mohsen - Treasurer
Kawther Mohsen is currently a first year Architecture student and has a creative background in art and design. She wants to help create dialogue between the youth and push them towards becoming more active in society and achieving their goals. The community needs a platform through which they can spread the light of Ahlulbayt (as) and create unity in the muslim world and she strongly believes that the Ya Hussain Project can help build this this.
Mariam Al - Event Coordinator
Mariam is studying an undergraduate degree in Psychology she is interested in alleviating the social condition of others. By helping our community gain confidence and tackle the issues that are holding us back both spiritually and socially. Currently a lot of youth are held back by social barriers and traditions that are stopping them from expanding their skills and widening their horizons. She is looking for ways to mediate both of these cultures whilst sticking to the teachings of Ahlulbayt. She believes that YHP can be used as a platform to encourage this generation to become active and spread the message of Ahlulbayt.
Sara Zaini - Public Relations

She finds great joy in knowing that the youth of our community are being cared for and guided on the path of the Ahlulbayt (as) & feels that an organisation such as YHP is a great platform in which the youth have the chance to step up and organise events for the youth, strengthening our sense of community and helping us acquire skills that will help us in our future inshaAllah. Sara enjoys creativity and art and likes to think outside the box to find interesting ways of approaching what we were raised to believe.
